  • Civil Liability for Third Party Damages is the coverage for the total sums for which the insured is legally obligated to pay damages to third parties (other than the occupants, travelers or passengers of the insured vehicle) because of bodily injury (BI) or property damage (PD) or death to third parties, and in some cases other damages in which an insurance policy applies.

  • In the event of a civil lawsuit against you due to your civil liability, some policies cover, up to the maximum limit of liability established in the policy, the expenses and costs to which the insured is condemned.
