The stretch of beach in Mazatlan is one of the longest in Mexico. Its beaches are internationally recognized for offering relaxation and tranquility, infinity of water sports and recreations. Among the favorite beaches for water sports are the Playa Olas Altas<\/strong>, Playa Los Pinos<\/strong> and Playa Bruja.<\/strong> For a relaxed atmosphere, Playa Sabalo<\/strong> and Playa Cerritos<\/strong> are perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mazatlan has important ecological reserves that are home to diverse flora and fauna.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the ecological reserves in Mazatlan is Playa El Verde Camacho<\/strong>, one of the most important reserves in Mexico, home to the \u00a0Olive Ridley\u00a0turtle<\/strong>. This beach is a natural treasure that is not only the sanctuary of the Ridley turtle, it also houses a diversity of flora and fauna. Another important reserve is the Caleta de Cacaxtl\u00e1 Plateau<\/strong> that houses more than 66 species of flora and fauna. among these, an enormous amount of birds like the pelican that can be admired by the air of this ecological reserve.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Carnaval de Mazatl\u00e1n es sin dudar una de las celebraciones m\u00e1s vibrantes y coloridas de M\u00e9xico. Tiene fama mundial al ser considerado el tercer carnaval<\/strong> m\u00e1s importante del mundo. La tradici\u00f3n de esta fiesta es tan antigua ya que el primer carnaval fue celebrado en el a\u00f1o de 1898<\/strong>.<\/p>

Todas las noches durante la semana del carnaval, se celebra con desfiles<\/strong>, carros aleg\u00f3ricos, conciertos al aire libre, fuegos artificiales, sonido y espect\u00e1culos de luz, bailes<\/strong> y bebidas para todos.\u00a0La mayor\u00eda de los eventos se llevan acabo en el Malec\u00f3n<\/strong>, Olas Altas Beach<\/strong> y el Centro Historico<\/strong>.<\/p>

Una tradici\u00f3n en el carnaval es la Quema del Mal Humor<\/strong>\u00a0que se representa incinerando una marioneta gigante. Por lo general representa una figura pol\u00edtica o persona famosa que no es apreciada por sus malos actos..<\/p>

Bien vale la pena un viaje a Mazatl\u00e1n para vivir y sentir las emociones de esta fiesta que perduraran en tus recuerdos para toda la vida.<\/p>

Los personajes del carnaval se han ido integrado uno a uno desde \u00a0el primer carnaval en 1898. El Rey de la Alegr\u00eda<\/strong> fue el primer personaje en aparecer conocido en aquel entonces como el Rey del Carnaval<\/strong> o Rey de la \u00a0Locura<\/strong>. Dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s aparece la Reina del Carnaval<\/strong> como segundo personaje. En 1925 aparece la Reina de los Juegos Florales<\/strong>, qui\u00e9n representa lo art\u00edstico y po\u00e9tico del carnaval. En 1921 se nombra una Reina Infantil<\/strong> y poco despu\u00e9s aparec\u00e9 la Reina de la Poes\u00eda,<\/strong> qui\u00e9n es la versi\u00f3n infantil de la reina de los Juegos Florales. Cada personaje tiene sus propias funciones, eventos especiales y carros aleg\u00f3ricos.<\/p>
